Forbes House empowers individuals and families to end the cycle of domestic abuse. Their approach is a holistic one. Immediate shelter is only a temporary solution to an immediate crisis. Forbes House also provides long-term counseling, housing, children’s programs, support groups, legal assistance, and more at no charge to our clients

WomenSafe’s mission is to provide emergency shelter and support services to survivors of domestic violence throughout Northeast Ohio. They are a 501 (c)(3) not-for-profit domestic violence shelter and resource center in their 42nd year of service to survivors of domestic violence.

Cleveland Rape Crisis Center’s mission is to support survivors of rape and sexual abuse, promote healing and prevention, and advocate for social change. Each year, the Center serves more than 64,000 people in Cuyahoga, Ashtabula, Geauga and Lake Counties.

Lake-Geauga Recovery Centers provide a wide range of services for individuals and families struggling with substance abuse or addiction, mental health concerns or problem gambling.

Since 1993, nearly 10,000 children and adults experiencing homelessness in Northeast Ohio have received shelter, care, and guidance through Project Hope for the Homeless, the only emergency shelter in Lake County, Ohio. In 2024, we served 390 guests including 48 children.

Friends of Recovery Northeast Ohio is an organization that provides a healthy, spiritual, residential alternative to individuals burdened by addiction. Our mission is to establish and provide Christ-centered, “Next Step” living, recovery homes offering hope, healing and restoration for individuals recovering from addictive substances.
